How can I edit the content in a linked box?

Answer

You can edit a linked box in one of two ways:

  • You can modify the original box (the "parent" of your linked box)

    If you're not sure where the original box is, click on the green & blue arrows next to the box title. It will tell you the guide & page name where the box is located:

  • You can delete the linked box, and create a copy instead

    Before you delete the box, make sure you're not deleting the original. When you click on the green & blue arrows, the text should say This box is linked from the following page (like the image above).

    After you've deleted the box, you'll need to make a new copy. Here's how:

    1. Click Add New Box
    2. Choose the Reuse Existing Box tab
    3. Select the guide that contains the box you want to copy, and then select the box.
    4. Click the checkbox next to Make a copy of this box...

    Once you've copied the box, you can edit it to your heart's content!
