You can use a Documents & Files box to add Word files to your guides.

Just remember, uploaded files can be no larger than 5MB.

If your file is larger than 5MB, you'll either need to edit it to bring the file size down below 5MB or break the content into 2 files. Your other option is to upload the file to a server at your library/institution and link to the file in your guide.

Adding a Documents & Files Box

Click Add New Box, choose Documents & Files, give it a name and click Create Box.

Click Add New File:

  • Give the file a title - this is what will display on the page.
  • If you want, add a description of the file.
  • Click Browse or Choose File (depending on your browser) and choose the file to upload.
  • Click Save Document.
