Answer

To add extra spaces between your bullet lists, you can first create the list normally, and then once the list has been created you can place your cursor after each entry and hit Shift-Enter to add an extra space. This should allow you to insert a line break between each entry, without adding extra bullet points to the list.

  1. This did not work for me. The spaces show when I'm formatting the box, but when I hit "save and close," no spaces appear between the lines in the box that appears on the page.

  2. Hi Rebecca - I just tested and the same thing happened to me. This used to work, so I'm not sure what may have changed. I'll check in with our support team and let you know how it goes! - Anna

  3. Is there an answer to this yet? I just tried the above instructions and got the same result.

  4. HI everyone,
    Try these steps.
Navigate to your rich-text box or editor, select bulleted list, type the text on the first bullet and then hit Shift + Enter. This will move your cursor down to the next line, but it won't create that 2nd bullet. Then hit ENTER again, this should move your cursor down another line but create the 2nd bullet. So keep trying those steps:
    1. Shift + Enter
    2. Hit Enter again

Your list should look like this: http://demo.libguides.com/content.php?pid=276994&sid=2282558&mode=preview.

    Best,
