Answer

There are tons of different search boxes out there - here are a few places to start looking for search boxes to integrate:

 Creating Search Boxes
 Library Catalog Searches
 Built in Google Box Types

Once you've got search box code to work with, there are two methods we'd recommend for integrating them in your guides...

1. Place the code in an Embedded Media/Widgets Box

  • Click the Add Box link
  • Select Multimedia Boxes -> Embedded Media & Widgets; give the box a title
  • Click Add Media / Widget Code
  • Paste in the embed code; click Embed it

2. Place the code in a Rich Text box

  • Click the Add Box link
  • Select the Rich Text box type
  • Click "edit text"
  • Click the Plain Text tab (very important!)
  • Paste in the code; click Save Changes
