How do I copy a box?
You can copy a box from any of your own guides, as well as from guides created by others who have accounts in your LibGuides system. (Note: there's one exception to this rule. If your colleague has restricted copying on his or her guide, then you will not be able to copy a box from that guide.)
To copy a box into your guide, click Add New Box. In the popup window that appears > Reuse Existing Box from the system.
From here select the guide > then box from the drop down menus. At the bottom, select the checkbox that says, "Make a copy of this box rather than mapping to the original."
Keep in mind, boxes that you copy don't automatically update if/when new content is added to one of the boxes.
If you prefer, you can streamline the updating process by linking to a box in the system - this will automatically change/update all linked boxes when changes are made to the original. Simply leave this box unchecked.
