How can I adjust the column width on my pages?

The typical page has 3 columns (for boxes). I would like to have a page with one giant box so I can embed my powerpoint slides. Do you think this is possible. I embedded my powerpoint and it comes out with text cut out, etc. Many thanks for any advice you can give me.

  1. Springshare introduced a slider now. I like the default options on the top, but I dislike the slider. It is a pain to slide and make my left column exactly 300px. Slider means no calculator needed... but the (right) arrow next to the slider is simply not working :(

  2. I'm sorry to hear you're not a fan of the new column slider! Could you share a little more information with me about the functionality that isn't working? In particular, what browser/version are you using? The slider options, including the left & right arrows, are all working for me, so I'm wondering if there's either something about your browser that isn't playing nicely, or if there's something conflicting in the guide you're working on. If you could share the URL of a guide where this doesn't work, and let me know the browser/version number you're working with, I'll be happy to take a closer look!

  3. Is there a way to make different size columns on the same page? I'm thinking about layers of column sizes. I made a really simple .png to illustrate what I mean. It is available here->

  4. Brendan - sort of. It involves CSS, so if you're not familiar with it, I'd recommend staying away from it...haha. This FAQ explains how to make boxes span columns: It won't necessarily conform to your exact screenshot, but it'll get you close! :)
