If you are the sys admin for your LibGuides site (the original one...or the main one listed with us), you can log in as that user and add a pic/edit their profile. :)

All you need is the user's email address (the one they use to log into the system, of course) and the super-awesome superuser password that was given to you when we emailed you your original login information for your site. (Oh, the power... ;)

  • If you still have that email, then you have the superuser password.
  • If you don't have that email anymore, just let us know at & we can get your superuser password to you.
  • If you're not the original sys admin (and that person is still in your library), contact them to log in as the user and change their profile.
  • If your original sys admin is no longer at your library, please update your system with the contact info for the person who should be our main sys admin contact at your library. Go to Admin Stuff > System Settings.

In the Institution Information box, update the Admin Email field. (It's very important for us to have up-to-date info in our's one of the ways we let you know when there's new stuff or stuff happens!)

Then email to let us know the other person left, you are now the admin, and request the superuser password.

This site is shutting down by, if not before, March 31, 2018.

LibGuides v1 servers are also shutting down at that time.

    See LibGuides v2 documentation instead.
