Q

How do I publish my guide for staff only?

We have started using guides which are posted for the public, but I have created one regarding Circulation procedures that is for staff only. How do I publish it but keep it visible only to staff?

Answer

If you want to publish information for internal use only, select the "Private" option when publishing your guide. This will hide the guide from all public view, except for people who know its URL. You can then distribute that URL to your staff, and they'll be able to view the contents. Note that the guide will still appear in your Guide Index screen, so staff members with access to LibGuides can also access it that way.
